In this article, we will describe the algorithms for obtaining permission for Permanent residence (permanent residence), permits for Long-term stay (DVZ), as well as the Unified Civil Number (EGN) in Bulgaria.
In Aliens Act There are many reasons for obtaining the above statuses, the process of obtaining personal cards in Migrations is approximately the same. But, we want to note that in different departments of the Migration Directorate in Bulgaria, the list of documents is different. Therefore, before starting this important procedure, check on the websites of the Migration, or personally visit the department to clarify the list of documents for applying for a permit, and in the Community – for obtaining certificates.
So, the cheat sheet/list of documents for Migration:
- The original international/foreign passport (valid for at least 18 months) and its copy on 2 pages with spreads, where the photo and stamp of the last entry into Bulgaria.
- Copy of personal card (residence permit) (In some cases)
- Medical insurance for 12 months (required only for DVZ)
- Bank statement/certificate on the availability of funds in the personal account (12 minimum Bulgarian wages for all or 12 minimum pensions for pensioners)
- Documents confirming the availability of housing (or a copy of the notarial deed for the property or notarized copies of the lease agreement and declaration from the owner of the property)
- Application for permanent residence (form) or DVJ (form)
- Receipt of payment of the state fee for the consideration of the application – 10 BGN
- The original international/foreign passport (valid for at least 18 months) and its copy on 2 pages with spreads, where the photo and stamp of the last entry into Bulgaria.
- Copy of personal card (residence permit) (In some cases)
- Medical insurance for 12 months (required only for DVZ)
- Declaration from parents on consent to obtain permanent residence/DVR in Bulgaria for a child (form)
- Declaration from parents on the provision of housing and finances for the child (Form) (the amount of proof of financial status in the bank account is doubled for each child)
- A notarized copy of the declaration from the homeowner that he agrees to the residence of family members at the specified address.
- A notarized copy of the child's birth certificate, translated into Bulgarian.
- Application for permanent residence (form) or residence permit (form)
